Choosing a Great Pet Sitter

If you are in the Jersey City area and are looking for a pet sitter, then look no further! Jessie the Critter Sitter has been handling pets for over twenty years, and I am still a key part of Jersey City to this day. Many people go on vacations and can choose between putting their pets temporarily in a kennel, or having some faraway relative take care of them—or you can hire me to come and take care of your pet! I have 25 years of experience in taking care of peoples' pets, and this is the difference between hiring them or asking a neighbor or family member to care for your pet. From feeding your pets to walking to them to protecting them, I am experienced in pet CPR and first aid, so your pets will always be safe.

A good pet sitter needs to understand animals, and more than that, needs to love them! Just as your pets need food and exercise while you are away, they also require affection—especially if you are away for an extended period of time. Some pets prefer the lights on or off at certain parts of the day; some pets eat at different times; some pets require more exercise than others.I am specifically trained to balance these conditions and do what is best for you and your pet.

A good pet sitter needs to have a proper background in pet care; luckily, I fulfill this requirement. When they take care of your pets, they take all factors into account: your pet’s diet and feeding schedule, their daily routine exercise, their treats (if they take any), if they have any allergies or special conditions, anything that they like or dislike, and baths, if you find that necessary. Pet sitters should follow your and your pet’s schedule, since it is the pet that they’re taking care of.

Finding a pet sitter in Jersey City is simple. If you are looking a professionally trained and experienced pet care specialist to take of your pets while you are away—whether it is simply a day-long event, an emergency, or a vacation that could last several weeks, Jessie the Critter Sitter balances all of my many clients’ schedules so that your pets are taken care of at the right time. This is one of the most important elements of a pet sitter, because many pets run on specific internal body clocks. They can get antsy if they do not receive food at the precise time, and if they are not walked or let out at the right time, well, who knows what the pet will do? When you go away, make sure that your pet is in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing, by training for years, especially in the area of pet CPR and pet first aid. It will help you relax while you are away, knowing that your pet is in good hands.
